Pr""' <br /> • <br /> .• <br /> APPOINTmENT <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> concur pith the Mayor's appointment of Robert J. Hickson to <br /> • represunt the City on the PlIblic Derelopment Corporation Board. <br /> i• Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes, except Councilman <br /> POpe4 who was excused. <br /> Notion Carried <br /> OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE AWARD <br /> Police Chief Shelstad introduced Officer Terry DeVerse, who wao <br /> nominated by the Police Department to receiVe the Mayor's Service <br /> Award. Mayor Moore then presented him wita a plague and <br /> congratulated him on his outstanding work for the City. <br /> PROCLAMATIONS <br /> Mayor Moore proclaimed June 1, 2 and 3, 1984, as'Salty Sea Ilaye <br /> and also proclaimed today,Nay 23rd,as'Marion ROBe Bonneywell Day" <br /> in the City of Everett. He then presented her husband,George,with <br /> a plague in remembrance of his late wife,an active community member <br /> all her life. <br /> Moved by Conncilman Lang., seconded by Councilman Michelson, to <br /> concur with the Mayor's proclamation of Nay 23, 1984, as 'Marion <br /> Bonneywell nay'. <br /> • Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes, except Councilman <br /> 120,a,who was excused. <br /> • Motion Carried <br /> • <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Langus said he erai glad to be back in Everett atter his <br /> vacation. <br /> • <br /> councilman Morrow reported he had attended a workshop last Friday <br /> held by APO on keys to effective city could,and found ie eeceemeb, <br /> • <br /> beneficial.
