Upon roll call it was found that all councilmen were present. L The minutes of the July 3,1990 meeting were approved as printed. PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS President Pope indicated that he had received two requests for temporary road closures: Linden Street for Grandview Homes' annual community ceremony; and 24th Street for vacation Bible School of Trinity Lutheran Church. r '' Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Morrow to authorize the temporary road closure of Linden Street in front of the community recreation center of Grandview Homes between the hours of noon and 5:00 p.m.on July 20.1990. Roll was called with all councilmen voting Yes. I ,• Notion carried. Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Anderson to authorize the temporary road closure of 24th Street for one block between Oakes and Lombard from 9:00 a.m.to 12:00 noon on August 3, Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. . , , . Motion carried. Councilmembers and Mayor Winch discdssed the possibility of processing temporary street or road closures for celebrations by the , administration instead of going to Council. All were in agreement.
