52 0 <br /> February 6,1991 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was celled to <br /> order at 8,30 a.m., on Wednesday, February 6,1991 in the City <br /> Council chambers of Everett City Hall, President Morrow <br /> piridingiimiloc,%roll=it was found that Mayor Kinch and <br /> Tpl=":Ptl,gUriChiimnaM albMirMtg'eL:ege Ttre°v" <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Kinch read a proclamation pledging support to our Armed <br /> Forces, Commander-in-Chief, and all those nations who have <br /> joined us in the battle of freedom for the Kuwait people and <br /> proclaimed February 6, 1991 as Pledge Our Support Day. The <br /> Mayor suggested that all Americans display their flags and <br /> yellow ribbons to express their concern and desire for the safe <br /> return and speedy conclusion to this conflict. <br /> FIAYOR.S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch thanked Neighbor to Neighbor, 0000, and City staff <br /> for decorating the City with yellow ribbons In support of our <br /> troops. Nis office has received many complimentary calls <br /> regarding thia project. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Anderson reported on the New York State Legislative <br /> Conference on Solid Waste that hr recently attended. <br /> Councilman Moser attended a Snohomish County Citizens for <br /> Improved Transportation meeting. The deterioration of State <br /> Route 2 tressel was the topic of discussion. A representative 0 <br /> from the Department of Transportation stated that the tressel <br /> was deteriorating rapidly and there was a need to accelerate <br /> that project. Also voiced was concern that there is no <br /> provision for high occupancy vehicle lanes for this project. <br /> 0 <br />
