g 16, <br /> CApril 10,1,91 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 8:30 a.m.,April 10, 1,91 in the City Council chambers <br /> of the Everett City Hall, President Morrow presiding. Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present except Councilman Anderson who was excused. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> • <br /> Dan Lowell, Utilities, introduced three employees who have <br /> increased their level of certification. Mayor Kinch presented <br /> certificates to Brian Johnson, Frank Teraina and Cathy Janke. <br /> Councilmembers acknowledged their achievements with applause. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Moser inquired as to the status of filling the <br /> 1 C Transit Director position. Mayor Kinch responded that the <br /> position had been filled and the new director would be <br /> introduced to Council as soon as he arrived. His name is <br /> William link and he is from Winnipeg,Canada. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Morrow brought attention to a memo from Pam Lux <br /> regarding the parking problem an Broadway next to GTE which was <br /> again a concern. Mayor Kinch was aware of it and will be <br /> sending out a letter to GTE management; and suggested that <br /> extensive ticketing be started. <br /> President Morrow shared some photographs of his recent vacation <br /> trip to New Zealand.
