Upon roll <br /> call it was found that Mayor Winch was excused and all <br /> councilmen were present. <br /> The minutes of the August 21, 1991 meeting were approved as <br /> Printed, <br /> Councilman Overstreet inquired as to how the minutes for the <br /> Boeing hearing would be handled. The answer was that they will <br /> be handled separate from the Council minutes. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE <br /> ''ttenroNYte'gcTSTh IrlYtkicr%X.nglt:egY.X!'Ce Ch'e''''t'r a" <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Overstreet had an inquiry regarding the political <br /> campaign sign ordinance and its enforcement. Jerry Vrooman <br /> responded that the Clerk's I offhas given out a copy of the c: ordinance and instructions to anyone filing for office. It is <br /> the Planning Department's responsibility to enforce the <br /> ordinance. Donna Rider, Cityice Clerk, further responded that the <br /> campaign office of the sign in question located at 32nd and <br /> Wetmore has been notified by telephone and a follow up letter <br /> will be sent. Paul Roberts stated that all candidates were <br /> notified of the ordinance. A letter defining "political sign. <br /> and"advertisement. showing the city boundaries will be sent to <br /> all candidates. <br /> Councilman Pope asked for an update on the transit station on <br /> Pacific and Colby. Jerry Vrooman said that Carlton Gipson would <br /> be back next week and address that issue. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> President Morrow indicated that an invitation to hold the <br /> Council meeting of September 25th at the new fire station in the <br /> Glenwood area had been extended by Fire Chief 011is. <br /> Councilmembers responded favorably to that suggestion. <br /> C <br /> 1 <br />
