a 517 <br /> 0 September 28,1991 <br /> CF <br /> Pursuant to Section 3.2 of the Everett City Charter, Council <br /> President Ed Morrow called a special meeting of the Everett City <br /> Council for the purpose of selecting a Councilmember pro tempore <br /> for the Council Meeting of October 2,1991. <br /> The Special Meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, <br /> September 28, 1991 in the City Council Chambers of Everett City <br /> Hall by Council President Morrow. All Councilmembers were in <br /> attendance except Councilmembers Dianmnd, Moser, and Pope who <br /> were excused. <br /> Bruce Jones, City Attorney, said that the appointment is for one <br /> meeting only,October 2,1991,and pursuant to Section 2.7 of the <br /> Charter, would fill in for the extended excused absence of <br /> 4 Councilman Ed Diamond. It was noted in addition to Councilman <br /> Diamond's excused absence, three other councilmembers will have <br /> 14, excused absences on the October 2, 1991 meeting date, causing a <br /> lack of a majority for the transaction of City business at the <br /> q1= regular Council Meeting. <br /> Discussion was held on potential candidates to serve as <br /> i 0 Councilmember pro temoore for the October 2,1991 meeting. <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Overstreet to <br /> I. appoint Bradford Cattle, 931 Rucker, to serve as Councilmember <br /> pro tempore for the October 2, 1991 Council Meeting to fill in <br />, for the extended excused absence of Councilman Ed Diamond. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilmen <br />:1 Diamond,Moser,and Pope who were excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br />,.
