rr February 26,1992 <br /> {r' <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was Called to <br /> order at 8:30 a.m., February 26, 1992, in the City Council <br /> Chamber of the Everett City Hall, Pe sident Gipson presiding. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen <br /> were present except Councilman Diamond who was excused. <br /> The minutes of the February 19, 1992,City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Kinch proclaimed the month of March, 1992, as Women's <br /> History Nonth. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Moved by Councilman Anderson, s ided by Councilman Pope to <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign a bolo Armless agreement with West <br /> Sound Construction to allow the Everett Police Department <br /> Tactical Team to use the vacant building located at 524 75th <br /> Street for training exercises. <br /> C' Rall was <br /> called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman <br /> Diamond who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Campbell reported that he rode with a police officer <br /> this past week antl $ very impressed with their <br /> professionalism. He furtherexpressed appreciation for all <br /> their efforts. <br /> Councilman Overstreet acknowledged Councilman Crod the appointment to the Human Development Steering Committee for the <br /> National League of Cities.' <br /> He also reported that Public Safety Sub Committee has had a <br /> couple of meetings and are evaluating the long range needs of <br /> public safety in the city. <br /> He attended a state policy committee o unity development. <br /> They are locking,at growth management issues. Paul Roberts, <br /> Planning, is participating o SEPA committee. Paul explained <br /> that there is a needto <br /> rtout the roll of SEPA in <br /> relationship to growth management and there may need to be some <br /> Ctechnical changes made by legislature. <br />
