142 <br /> April 22,1992 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council yms called t0 <br /> order at 8:30 a.m.,April 22, 1992,. in the City Council Chamber <br /> of the Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen were <br /> present except Councilman Anderson who was excused. <br /> President Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 15, 1992, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch asked City.Attorney Mike,Weight to reporton,the. <br /> payment Of the subcontractors by Cascade Commercial. H <br /> reported that Cascade Commercial has been in negotiations with <br /> the subcontractors and has requested the City t0 reis ue checks <br /> (new amounts). Cascade Commercial will be finalizing their <br /> negotiations with the subcontractors. The City is asking them <br /> to submit their finalized Joint check list by 4 p.m. today. He <br /> emphasized that the City is deviating from normal procedure to <br /> make sure the subcontractors get paid. He said that Cascade <br /> C. Commercial will be asked to sign a final note(letter). <br /> RECOGNITION <br /> Mayor Kinch introduced Carl Be i., Wastewater Treatment Plant, <br /> who in turn praised several employees from the laboratory <br /> services staff w s helpedmake it possible or the treatment <br /> mcha <br /> plant to receive the Washington State Certificate of <br /> Accreditations laboratory testing procedures- by the <br /> Washington StateDepartment of Ecology, and the Washington <br /> State Department of Health. eed w Robert Waddle, <br /> Christiane Khairzada, Julie Skladere, flwere <br /> ichard Perry, and earl <br /> Kendrick.
