Upon <br /> roll call it was found that Mayor Kinch and all councilmen mer <br /> present except Councilmen Anderson and Diamond who were excused.e <br /> The minutes of the May 6, 1992 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as.printed. <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> The Monte Cristo topic will be on next week's agenda. <br /> Mayor Kins <br /> ch recognized Lori Cummings,Recreational Coordinator <br /> for the City of Everett, who a recently awarded the Young <br /> Professional of the Year Award" for the Washington Recreation <br /> and Parks Association. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Campbell participated in the March of Dimes Walk <br /> C this past week and extended thanks t0 all those who supported <br /> it. <br /> Councilman-Overstreet brought ,attention...to'. City of' <br /> Everett map that is being'.distributed.by Public Works. <br /> Councilman Moser informed ,ouncilmembers that "Transit <br /> yesterday was <br /> Transit Driver AppreciationDay,"and today is r sit Rider <br /> Appreciation Day." He relatedthat it.is a privilege to have <br /> auebogreat employees in our transit.department. <br /> He also announced that there will be as cries of community <br /> meetings regarding rapid transit. The firstof the series will <br /> be this evening. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS. <br /> President Gipson announced that an executive session o a real <br /> estate matter would Sr held following today's meting. <br />
