402 <br /> November 4,1992 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called,o <br /> order at 800 a.m., November 4, 1992, in the City Council <br /> Chambers of the Everett City Hall, President Gipson presiding. <br /> Upon roll call it was found that Mayor-Kinch and all councilmen <br /> were present. <br /> Councilman Moser led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 28, 1,92 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> PROCLAMATIONS <br /> The week of November 8-14 was proclaimed "Free Enterprise <br /> Week." Chris Lamoureux, representing Everett High's DECA <br /> program,accepted the proclamation. <br /> Mayor Ninch also proclaimed November 9, 1992 as "Suzanne J. <br /> Simpson Day" in recognition and appreciation of her many years <br /> of dedicated service to the community. theses very active in <br /> the Everett School District's Community Schools Program as a <br /> french teacher. Susan Reichmann introduced the Si.vson Family <br /> who received the proclamation. <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> • <br /> Mayor Kinch asked for Council's concurrence on the appointment <br /> of David Handley to the Everett Housing Authority Board. He <br /> will fill Dr.Schalka's position. <br /> Moved by Councilman Diamond,seconded by Councilman Anderson to <br /> concur with the appointment of David Mandley to the Everett <br /> Housing Authority Board. <br /> Roil was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> MAYOR,COMMENTS <br /> Mayor cinch announced to councilmembers that funding has been <br /> approved for the Everett Centennial River Walk and also the <br /> Interurban Trail. He credited Public Works Director Ken <br /> Housden and staff for making it happen. <br />
