451 <br /> December 3,1992 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 8:30BDecember 3, 1992, in the City Council <br /> Chambers of thea Everett City Hall, Vice President Anderson <br /> presiding. Upon roll callit was found that Mayor Kinch and <br /> all councilmen were present except President Gipson and <br /> Councilman Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Mayor Kinch led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 25, 1992 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Councilman Moser abstained from the vote. <br /> NEW FIRE FIGHTERS <br /> Floe Chief Terry 011is introduced five new fire fighters. They <br /> were: MatthewJoseph M. Paterniti, Christoper C. <br /> Grow,Philip W.SMithsonnand Kevin R.Arndt. . <br /> MAYOR'S COMMENTS <br /> Mayor Kinch commented on the beautiful poinsettias the Parks <br /> Department seeto decorate the Council Chambers for the <br /> holiday s <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Campbell expressed that the National League of <br /> Cities convention in w Orleans was very informative. <br /> Councilman Moser reported that he attended meetings regarding <br /> thelaw, the Intermodal Surface Transportation <br /> Efficiency cable Actand the A Disabled Act forum while in <br /> New Orleans. All of these issues will need t0 be addressed at <br /> the local level. <br /> PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> Vice President Anderson announced that item#J, Bid Award for <br /> the Horseshoe Timber Sale owill be moved to the December 9th <br /> agenda. <br /> C <br />
