February 2,2000 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,February 2,2000 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Campbell presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Hansen <br /> and Carcilmembers Anderson,Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,Pope <br /> and Overstreet wem present. <br /> Couvcilmember Pope led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 26,2000 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> primed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT-POLICE OFFICER <br /> Deputy Chief Stiles introduced Wayne Boudreau il,a new police officer. <br /> Moved by Coueeilmmber Gipson,.seconded by Couorihnember Warnock <br /> to come with the appointment of Wayne Boudreau H as a police officer. <br /> Roll was called with all...members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered his oath of office. <br /> APPOINTMENTS-BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> Mayor Hansen requested the City Council's concurrence with the appoinhmnta <br /> of Maureen Anderson to the Library Board;lay Cole to the Housing Authority; <br /> Bill Belshaw to the Tree Committee and Michele Rastovich to the Human Nerds <br /> Committee. <br /> The Mayor stated that Jay Cale will be replacing Lida Kenton. <br />
