Mach 28,2001 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m., <br /> March 28,2001,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President <br /> Simpson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Hansen end <br /> Commihnembers Anderson,Simpson,Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,Pope and <br /> Overstreet were present. <br /> • <br /> Comcilmember Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the Mach 21,2001 City Column meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Hansen proclaimed April 2-8,2001 as Public Health Week.He presented <br /> the proclamation to Rick Mockler of the Snohomish Health District. <br /> REPORT—CENSUS <br /> Dave Kooning,Planning,reported on statistics from So 2000 Ceenus regarding <br /> Popuia0on and race diversity. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Councilmember Anderson commented that the Evere0 Historical Theatre is <br /> celebrating its centennial this year. <br /> Counoilmernber Warnock reported on his attendance at the National League of <br /> Cities Conference in Washington,D.C. <br /> 112 <br />
