July 5,2001 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at Sap a.m., <br /> July 5,2001 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President <br /> Simpson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Hansen, <br /> Councilmembers Anderson,Simpson Warnock,Gipson,Campbell,Pope and <br /> Overstreet were present. <br /> Police Chief Scharf led the Pledge of Allegianca <br /> The minutes of the June 27,2001 City Council meeting were approved as printerb <br /> CounciM,ober Anderson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> POUCH OFFICEROATJ[ <br /> Police Chief Scharf introduced James ScHoNheuer,a new Reserve Police Officer. <br /> Moved by Couoeilmember Gipson,seconded by Councllmember Warnock to <br /> concur with the appointment of James Schlonhauer as a Reserve Pollee <br /> Officer. <br /> Roll was called with all conncemernbers voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> FOURTH OF JULY <br /> Mayor Hansen thanked the Jaycees,Naval Station Everett and staff who worked <br /> hard to preen a very successful Fomite of July celebration. <br /> RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY <br /> Mayor Hansen reminded everyone that on July 13.at p.m.Were will be a ribbon <br /> cutting ceremony m the Phil Johnson Fields. <br /> 252 <br />
