January 2,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,January 2,2002 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Anderson presiding. <br /> Mayor Hansen led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> Superior Court Judge French administered oaths of office to Mayor <br /> Edward D.Hansen:Council Members:Frank Anderson,Position N.1; <br /> Mark Olson,Position No.2:and Adan Haeoe,Position No.3;Municipal <br /> Court Judges:Tim O'Dell,Position No.1;are David Mitchell,Position No. <br /> Upon roll call It was found that Mayor Hansen and Council Members <br /> Anderson,Olson,Haloe,Gipson,Campbell,Pope,and Overstreet were <br /> present. <br /> The minutes of the December 26,2001 City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Members Olson,Hellos,and Campbell <br /> abstained fmm the vote. <br /> PRESIDENT <br /> President Anderson announced that the third and final readings of agenda <br /> item No.8,a proposed ordinance adopting the business and occupation <br /> tax provisions from the Association of Washington Cities model <br /> ordinance,and agenda Item No.9,a proposed or Seance adopting the <br /> bus!ness and occupation tax administrative provisions,will be January 16, <br /> 2002. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to adopt the following consent agenda Items: <br />
