January 9,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,January 9,2002,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Anderson presiding.Upon roll call It was found that Mayor <br /> Hansen and Council Members Anderson, Olson, Hattoe, Gipson, <br /> Campbell,Pope and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the January 2,2002 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—PARKS BOARD <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to concur <br /> c with the Mayor's recommendation to reappoint <br /> Randy Ayers to Parks Board Positions No.1 fora six-year term <br /> beginning January 1,2002 and ending December 31,2007. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Meson carded. <br /> REPORT-BROADWAY SEWER PROJECT <br /> Tom Thetford,Pubic Works,gave a report regarding the progress of the <br /> Broadway Sewer Project and related street closures. <br /> C UNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet requested that City Administration prepare a <br /> resolution for next week's agenda with regard to certain City Council <br /> concerns relating to the Special Event Center, i.e. facade, <br /> 9 <br /> Ir <br />
