May 15,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m.,May 15,2002,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hell. <br /> President Anderson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Hansen and Council Members Anderson, Olson, Hake,Gipson, <br /> Campbell,Pope,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the MI2002CCity Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Andereon abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> President Anderson reported on his attendance at the National League of <br /> Cities'Public Safety Crime Prevention Steering Committee meeting. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attomey Solna requested an executive session regarding a potential <br /> litigation matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Rachel MacNeill,1919 Monroe Avenue,introduced herself and several <br /> other students who were in attendance from a Cascade High School <br /> gocemment class. <br /> Michele Hoverter,P.O.Box 2085,submitted copies of a rowing study to <br /> the council members,and Invited the public to attend team to Row Day" • <br /> • <br /> at Langus Park Boat House on May 18,2002,9 a.m.to 12 p.m. <br /> Dominic Soriano,Everett Community College.introduced his citizenship • <br /> class. <br /> 150 <br />
