July 10,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,July 10,2002,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President He0oe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Hatloe,Gipson,Campbell,Pope,and <br /> Overstreet were present.Council Member Olson was excused.Council <br /> Position No.1 is vacant at this time. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 3,2002 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Anderson commented on the success of the 4a of July activities in <br /> the City of Everett. <br />• <br /> INTRODUCTION -) <br /> Fire Chief Murray Gordon introduced Deputy Chief David DeHaan.who <br /> has been appointed to the new position of Director of Emergency <br /> Management for the City of Everett. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> HOLD HARMLESS-MUSIC IN THE PARKS <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,se onded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to authorize the Mayor to sign an Indemnity and hold <br /> harmless agreement with the Port of Everett for the use of Port <br /> property for the City's 2002 Music In the Parks Waterfront Concert <br /> Series. <br /> 212 <br /> 1 <br />
