July 31.2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m..July 31,2002,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Vice President Campbell presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Council Members Krell,Olson,Campbell,Pope and Overstreet were <br /> present. Mayor Anderson and Council Members Hatloe and Gipson were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 24,2002 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> The council members welcomed Madan Krell to the City Council. <br /> PROPOSAL AWARD—CITY SPACE <br /> Council Member Overstreet stated that the City Council authorized a <br /> request for proposals from architectural firms for the City space at the <br /> Special Events Center on July 3,2002. He announced that the three <br /> applicants were interviewed yesterday. <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to authorize the Mayor and staff to negotiate a contract with <br /> Botesch,Nash and Hall Architects for the architectural work on the <br /> City space at the Special Events Center. <br /> Roll was called with all council members young yes except Council <br /> Members Hatloe and Gipson who were excused. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> Council Member Krell thanked the council members for their support. <br /> 250 <br />
