August28,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,August 28,2002,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell.Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Campbell. <br /> Pope,and Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 21,2002 City Council meeting wereapproved <br /> as printed.Council Members Gipson and Pope abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> EVERETT STATION <br /> Paul Kaftanski,Administration,gave a brief update on the Everett Station. <br /> He Introduced David Dahlin,proprietor of the new Everett Station Cafe. <br /> Mr.Dahlin A a licensee of the Washington State Department of Services <br /> for the Blind and has been trained in resttaurem operations. <br /> Mayor Anderson circulated a certificate of achievement amended to the <br /> City of Everett by the Association of Washington Cities for its Heart <br /> Savers School Program. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Assistant City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding a <br /> litigation matter. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to approve the following consent agenda Items: <br /> 287 <br />
