• <br /> October 9,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m..October 9,2002,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Natioe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatce,Gipson,Campbell. <br /> and Pope were present Council Member Overstreet was excused. <br /> • Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 2,2002 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Pope abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Anderson thanked the council members and staff for their <br /> involvement in the National League of CMe-Public Safety Come <br /> Prevention Steering Committee meetings. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Members Gipson,Olson.Campbell and Hake thanked Mayor <br /> Anderson for bringing the NLC Steering Committee Iv Everett end all <br /> • those who padicipaled. <br /> Council Member Krell reported on her attendance ata Homeland Security <br /> Symposium sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. <br /> Council Member Pope commented on his attendance at the National <br /> League of Cities Trenspodation Infrasbucture meeting and an Urban <br /> Consortium Transportation Taskforce meeting. He reminded everyone <br /> that the City of Everett's budget hearings are scheduled for November 6, <br /> 2002. <br /> Council Member Olson also reported on his attendance at the Homeland <br /> Security Symposium. He announced that Snohomish County Tomorrow <br /> will be holding a retreat on October 26.2002 at the Everett Station to <br /> discuss the buildable lends concept <br /> 336 <br />
