October16,2002 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m..October 16,2002,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hanoe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson and Council Members Krell,Hance,Campbell,Pope and <br /> Overstreet were present. Council Members Olson end Gipson ware <br /> excused. <br /> Boy Scout Troop No.71 led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 9,2002 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Overstreet abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed October 26,2002 as'Marching Band Day'. <br /> Rad Cowley accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Cascade High <br /> School Band and Color Guard Boosters. <br /> GUESTS <br /> Mayor Anderson acknowledged that Dominic Soriano and his citizenship <br /> class from Everett Community College are in attendance tonicht. <br /> • <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Pope reported that the Budget and Finance Committee <br /> authorszetl the repair of the handicapped lift at the main library. <br /> REPORT <br /> Louise Stanton-Masten,Everett Area Chamber of Commerce,reported on <br /> 'Gids Night Out'.She stated that the event was very successful. <br /> 344 <br />
