• <br /> April 2,2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,April 2,2003,in the City Coundl Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hallos presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Anderson;Council Members Krell,Hato,Gipson,Campbell,Overstreet, <br /> and Pope were present.Council Member Olson was excused. <br /> Council Member Pope led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 28,2003 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT—TREE COMMITTEE <br /> Moved by Councll Member Krell,seconded by Council Member Pope <br /> to concur with the appointment of Connie Eden to Position No.1, <br /> Tree Committee,for the remainder of a six.year term,ending <br /> December 31,2007 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Olson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Anderson proclaimed April 1 through April 13,2003 as Public <br /> Health Week'.Council Member Gipson presented the proclamation to Dr. <br /> Ward Hinds of the Snohomish County Health District. <br /> Mayor Anderson reported on his trip to Washington,D.C.,where he met <br /> with congressional delegations regarding funding requests for <br /> transportation and homeland security issues. <br /> 86 <br />
