July 16.2003 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 7:00 <br /> p.m.,July 18,2003.in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hallett presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Council <br /> Members Krell,Olson,Ha0os,Gipson,Campbell,Pope,and Overstreet <br /> were present Mayor Anderson was excused. <br /> Scout Troop No.19 led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the July 9,2003 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council President Hallo.abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Council President Hallo.reported that Mayor Anderson participated in the <br /> American Cancer Society's Relay for Life last weekend as part of the City <br /> of Everetts twelve-memberteam. <br /> H.announced that the City of Everett will be hosting a design workshop <br /> for the East Marine View Drive Improvement project on July 17,2003,4 <br /> p.m.to 9 p.m.at the Everett Station. <br /> Mayor Anderson will be throwing out the first pitch at the Everett Aquasox <br /> game tomorrow night,and he will be pieGr'.g the last brick at the Special <br /> Events Center on Friday,July 18,2003 at 11 a.m. <br /> CITY Al TORNEY <br /> City Attomey Seine requested an executive session regarding a potential <br /> litigation matter end a real estate matter. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Patty Ann Toomey.1020 Lombard,spoke regarding the need for non- <br /> profit agencies such as the Salty Sea Days Association to file lex forme <br /> with the Internal Revenue Service H they make over$25,000 per year. <br /> Ill <br /> a <br />
