• <br /> September 17,2003 <br /> A special joint meeting of the Everett City Council and the Board of <br /> Directors of the Tulalip Tribes was called to order at 10:30 a <br />• September 17,2003,at Legion Park on the bluff.John Bickerman was <br /> the Master of Ceremonies.President Halloo presided,as well as Tulalip <br /> Tribes Chairman Herman Williams Jr. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Anderson;President Ratlee,Council Members Krell,Olson, <br /> Gipson,Campbell,Overstreet,and Pope were present representing the <br /> City of Everett. Chairman Herman Williams Jr.,Vice Chairman Stanley <br /> Jones,Mel Sheldon,Les Packs and Mane Zackuse were present <br /> representing the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> The Everett Symphony provided music and the Canoe Family end Salmon <br /> Dancers performed. <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to approve the Governmental Alliance between the City of <br /> Everett and the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> Roll was called 0th all city council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Moved by Tribal Board Member Mel Sheldon and seconded by Tribal • <br /> Board Member Made Zackuse to approve the Governmental Alliance. <br /> Roll was called with all the board members voting yes. <br /> Remarks were made by various council members and board members in <br /> favor of the adoption of the Alliance. <br /> 205 <br />
