March 10,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,March 10,2004,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hatloe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Olson,Hate,Campbell, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present.Council Member Gipson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Krell led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 3,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Krell abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson slated that the improved schedule for the 1-5 widening <br /> project, which is included in the State legislature's supplemental <br /> transportation budget,is in jeopardy. He requested that the council <br /> members call their legislators and encourage them to pass the legislation. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed'larch 20,2004 as"Iwakuni City Day."He <br /> presented the proclamation to Charlie Earl,President,Everett Community <br /> College. <br /> COU ICIL <br /> Council Member Campbell updated the City Council regarding legislative <br /> He read a proclamation from the National League of Cities'Leadership <br /> Training Council recognizing Council Members Olson and Hatloe for <br /> attaining the silver certificate Ieademhip excellence level in the certificate <br /> of achievement and leadership program. <br /> 70 <br />
