June 9,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> am.,June 9.2004,In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Hattie presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson:Council Members Krell,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Campbell, <br /> Stonecipher,end Overstreet were present. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 2,2004 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Campbell abstained from the vote. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Gipson remarked that he participated in the dunk tank at <br /> the Police Unity Basketball Game. <br /> President Halloo announced that action item no.11,to set June t6,2004 <br /> as the date to consider acceptance of the 10%petition and notice of intent <br /> submitted by John Kenny far the Kenny Annexation,has been pulled from <br /> the agenda. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding four litigation <br /> manes. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Dan Bovey,4619 Baker Drive.expressed concem regarding the possible <br /> removal of the Ten Commandments monument. <br /> David Gibson,P.O.Box 871,Camaro Island,Seattle Rod-Tiques, <br /> thanked the council members for allowing them to hold their cat show end <br /> barbecue cook-of in the City of Everett. He remarked that they raised <br /> $18,800.00 for local charities. <br /> 183 <br />
