October20,2004 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,October 20,2004 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Hegoe presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Krell,Harlot),Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Overstreet were present. Council Member Olson was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Overstreet led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 13,2004 Cky Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Overstreet abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> RECOGNITION <br /> Mayor Stephenson recognized Man Hatloe who was chosen as the <br /> Chamber of Commerce Henry M.Jackson Citizen of the Year,and M=rian <br /> Krell for her ten years of work with the Monte Cristo Awards. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed October 23,2004 es Watching Band <br /> Day He presented the proclamation to Mike and Michelle Doubrava, <br /> representatives of find Cascade High School Bend Boosters. <br /> REPORT <br /> Reid Shockey,Chairperson,Mayor's Vision Committee,gave a brief <br /> update regarding the Mayor's Vision Committee. He stated that the <br /> committee hes met twice a month since May and has formed <br /> bcommittees to study economic development, education, Parks <br /> activities and culture,urban design,transportation,and riverfront and <br /> waterfront. He remarked that they will present a full report to the City <br /> Council in a couple of months. <br /> 330 <br />
