March 9,2005 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> m.,March 9,2005 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall. <br /> President Krell presiding. Upon roll call it was and that Mayor <br /> Stephenson; Council Members Krell, Hattoe, Gipson, Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. Council Member Olson was <br /> excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 2,2005 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson reported that he traveled to Olympia to meet with <br /> legislators and the govemor regarding transportation needs and projects <br /> for the City of Everett. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> APPOINTMENT—SALARY REVIEW COMMISSION <br /> Moved by Council Member Hattoe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to appoint Dale Pope to the Salary Review Commission, <br /> Position No.3,for a four year term ending December 31,2008. <br /> Roll was <br /> called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> MemberOlson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Council Member Nielsen reported that he attended a Board of Health <br /> meeting yesterday. The topic of discussion focused on the increased <br /> trend in obesity and overweight. <br /> 57 <br />
