C <br /> September 16,2005 <br /> A special joint meeting of the Everett City Council and the Board of <br /> Directors of the Tulalip Tribes was called to order at 11:15 a. <br /> September 16,2005,at Legion Park on the bluff. John Bickerman, <br /> Mediator,was the Master of Ceremonies. President Marian Krell <br /> presided,as well as Tulalip Tribes Chairman Stanley Jones,Sr.Upon roll <br /> call it was found that Mayor Ray Stephenson;President Marian Krell; <br /> Council Members Arlan Hatloe,Mark Olson,Drew Nielsen,and Brenda <br /> Stonecipher were present representing the City of Everett. Council <br /> Members Ron Gipson and Bob Overstreet were excused. Chairman <br /> Stanley Jones,Sr.;and Tribal Directors Melvin Sheldon,Jr.,Marie <br /> Zackuse,Chuck James,Herman Williams Jr.,Les Parks and Glen Gobin <br /> were present representing the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> The Everett Symphony provided music and members of the Tulalip Tribe <br /> performed native songs. <br /> Moved by Council Member Hatloe,seconded by Council Member <br /> Olson to authorize the Mayor to sign'an agreement for settlement, <br /> water supply,and water delivery system,between the City of Everett <br /> and the Tulalip Tribes. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Members Gipson and Overstreet who were excused. <br /> Motion canted. <br /> The Tulalip Tribe Board of Directors also voted to authorize the <br /> agreement regarding settlement,water supply and water delivery system <br /> with the City of Everett. <br /> Remarks were made by Mayor Stephanson,council members and board <br /> of directors. <br /> The agreement was formally signed and witnessed by council members <br /> and board of directors. <br /> 310 <br />
