May 9,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,May 9,2007,In the City Council Chambers of the E"erett Clty Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call It was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts.Olson,Natio!,Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Overstreet were prasem. <br /> Council Member Hetlee led the Pk.:Joe of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the May 2,2007 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> PROCLAMATION—NATIONAL SAFE BOATING WEEK <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed the week of May 19 25,2007 as"National <br /> Safe Boating Week" He presented the proclamation to District <br /> Commander Kan Black,Commander Renee Olson,and Lieutenant <br /> Commander Elaine Matthews,Everett Sall and Power Squadron. <br /> PROCLAMATION—DRINKING WATER WEEK <br /> Mayor Stephenson proclaimed the week of May 6-t2,2007 as"Drinking <br /> Water Week." He presented the proclamation to Tom Thetford,Public <br /> Works <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts presented Council Member Overstreet with a <br /> University of Washington ball cap. <br /> Council Member Overstreet remarked that the hat should go to Pat <br /> McClain,Doug Levy or possibly Representative Mike Sells who worked so <br /> hard to bring a college campus to Snohomish County. <br /> 153 <br />
