' I <br /> June 27,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m.,June 27,2007,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> Vice President Olson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe.Gipson, <br /> Nielsen,and Overstreet were present.Council Member Stonecipher was <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Roberts led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 20,2007 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed.Council Member Gipson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson encouraged everyone to see the July,2007 issue of <br /> Sunset Magazine which features several attractions in the City of Everett. <br />• <br />• COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Overstreet remarked that there were numerous kite <br />• <br />• sailors on Jetty Island last evening. He expressed concern and <br /> questioned whether the City of Everett has a joint agreement with the Port <br />• of Everett for administration of the area.Mayor Stephenson stated that <br />• he would have Paul Kattanski,Parks,look into the matter and report back <br />• to council. <br /> Council Member Nielsen stated that he attended an Amateur Radio <br /> Operator's Field Day at Harborview Park on Saturday.He commented on <br /> the group's importance to the City's emergency communication process. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Johnston requested an executive session regarding five real <br /> estate matters.The session is expected to last approximately 45 minutes <br /> to one hour with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> 205 <br />
