July 5,2007 <br /> A special meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 5:30 <br /> am.,July 5,2007 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson.Nielsen,Stonecipher,and <br /> Overstreet were present. Council Members Hatloe and Gipson were <br /> excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the June 27,2007 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as panted. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MJ CIR <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that yesterday was a greet 4.of July and the <br /> weather was beautiful.He thanked everyone for their contributions to the <br /> various events including the Navy. He gave special thanks to Kate <br /> Reardon end Karen Shaw for their help in getting donations to support the <br /> fireworks display. <br /> COUNCIL <br />• Council Members Roberts,Overstreet end Nielsen echoed comments that <br />• <br /> the July 4.celebration was a great event. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Ned Johnston,City Attorney,requested an executive session at the dose <br /> of the city council meeting regarding a litigation matter to last <br /> approximately fifteen minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> 215 <br />
