August 15,2007 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Councit was called to order at 6:30 <br /> 'p.m.,August 15,2007,in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City ". <br /> Hall,President Stonecipher presiding. Upon roll call it was found that <br /> Mayor Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Olson,Gipson. <br /> Nielsen,Stonecipher and Overstreet were present. Council Member <br /> Hadoe was excused. <br /> Mayor Stephenson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the August 8,2007 City Council meeting were approved Ali <br /> as printed. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked the members of the community and the <br /> Mayor who helped organize yesterdays meeting with Dr.Huntsman <br /> regarding the proposed University of Washington branch campus. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Johnston requested an sconce s regarding a <br /> taboopersonnel matter.The session is expected to st approximately 15 <br /> minutes with no anticipated announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Matthew Lacey,1702 Virginia,Director,Everett Rowing Association, <br /> thanked the City Council for their support of the new rowing dock. He <br /> introduced several members of the rowing club and presented Council <br /> President Stonecipher with a signed picture of the dock. • <br /> • <br /> Will Knedlik,P.O.Box 99,Kirkland,stated that he was appointed by the <br /> Sound Transit Board to wore the formal opposition statement to the <br /> Roads and Transit ballot proposal.
