March 26,2008 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett Cay Council was called to order at 8:30 <br /> a.m..March 28,2008 In the City Council Chambers of the Everett City <br /> Hall,President Nielsen presiding.Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson;Council Members Roberts,Olson,Hatloe,Gipson,Nielsen, <br /> Stonecipher,and Molter were presets. <br /> Council Member Olson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 19,2008 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed.Council Member Olson abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATH <br /> Deputy Police Chief Lineberry introduced three new police officers:Alex <br /> Sodersimm,Jeff Klages,and Jeff Pountain. <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Roberts to concur with the appointments of Alex Soderstrom,Jeff <br /> Klages,and Jeff Pountain as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered their oaths of office and Mayor <br /> Stephenson presented them their badges. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts stated that council will be receiving a letter from <br /> him es Chair of the Clean Air Board spelling out a settlement that they <br /> have reached with Kimberly Clad,regarding their hog fuel fires and clean <br /> air violations cited by the Department of Ecology. The negotiated <br /> settlement contains fines for the Clean Air Agencies'Diesel Solutions <br /> 80 <br />
