April 7,2010 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m.,April 7,2010 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall, <br /> President Roberts presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Stephenson and Council Members Roberts,Hellas,Nielsen,and Affholter <br /> were present. Council Members Stonecipher,Moore,and Gipson were <br /> excused. <br /> Council Member Affholter led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 31,2010 Everett City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed.Council Member Hatlue abstained from the vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephenson stated that he had the opportunity to welcome the <br /> Coalition for Open Govemment who is currently holding an open forum in <br /> the Weyerhauser Room at Everett Station. <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> Mayor Stephenson read a proclamation proclaiming April 14,2010 as <br /> "Arbor Day." Dianne Rker,Chair of the Board of Parks Commission <br /> accepted the proclamation. She thanked council for their support and <br /> challenged everyone to think about the important role tees play in cur <br /> everyday lives. <br /> ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles reported that open issues still remain with the Tethys <br /> contract and it will not be on the agenda of the 14° <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Dave Ramstad,Everett;Gabriele Bartholomew,Everett;and Rebecca <br /> Wolf,Edmonds expressed concern at the speed in which the Tethys <br /> 04 <br />
