ORDINANCE NO. 391S. 3918 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following' described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of the west line of the R/w of the Northern Pacific Railway Company with the south line of 24th Street, projected WIy from the Plat of Everett, Div. rr Gn in its present platted direction; th north 30031 east and following the west line of the Northern Pacific Railway Company RA for 80.10 ft.; th north89° 52 ' west and following the north line of 24th Street projected Wly for 24 feet; th south 3°03' west for 80.10 feet; thence south 89°52' east for 24 feet to the P.O.B. being the south 80 feet of a tract deeded to the City of Everett by the Everett Improvement Company, February 24, 1900, and filed in. Vol. 50 of Deeds, page 552, Records of Snohomish County, Washington. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the portion of street and alley above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street and alley, and WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution duly adopted, fix the 16th day of October, 1962, at 10 : 00 A 0 M 0 of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition, and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the City Clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and alley we heard and discussed, and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City Council that said petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of said street and alley subject to certain reservations and exceptions, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, described as follows, to --wit: Beginning at the intersection of the west line of the R/W of the Northern Pacific Railway Company with the south line of 24th Street, projected WIy from the Plat of Everett, Div.
