RECITALS <br /> This Agreement is entered into upon the basis of the following facts and circumstances: <br /> 1. City: The City of Everett,which is hereafter referred <br /> to as"City" or"Grantor" <br /> 2. Business Applicant(herein referred to as Cat Snapp Studio <br /> "Business"or"Grantee"): <br /> 3. Address: 1815 Pine St., Everett, WA 98201 <br /> 4. Phone: 425-908-0424 <br /> 5. Contact Person: Catherine Snapp Lavoie(Cat) <br /> 6. DUNS Number 117053147 <br /> 7. Title of Program being Funded: Everett CARES Round 2 Small Business Grant <br /> 8. Time of Performance: <br /> Beginning: August 1,2020 <br /> Ending: July 31,2021 <br /> 9. Amount of Agreement/Grant Award: $10,000.00 <br /> 10. This Agreement/grant award and the rights and <br /> obligations of both parties hereto shall be subject <br /> to and governed by the following, incorporated by <br /> reference herein as is fully set forth: <br /> (1) Grant Budget attached hereto or Exhibit"A" <br /> (2) Expense Reporting Form attached hereto or <br /> Exhibit"B" <br /> The City has funds available,authorized by the City Council for helping businesses respond to the negative economic impact of <br /> the Coronavirus; and <br /> The Business has applied for assistance from the Everett CARES Round 2 Small Business Grant Program and relying on the <br /> information provided by the Business,the City has determined that Business is a small business at risk of long-term business injury <br /> or closure as a result of the Coronavirus; and <br /> The Business wishes to receive a grant from the City in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars($10,000)to be used as working <br /> capital to retain jobs,to expand commerce,and to off-set the negative impact of the coronavirus on its business; and <br /> The City has analyzed evidence provided by the Business that there is no duplication of benefits from other sources of federal <br /> funds,such as SBA Paycheck Protection. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,in consideration of the foregoing Recitals and the covenants,conditions, representations and warranties <br /> contained herein,the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> THE GRANT <br /> A. Eligibility <br /> The Grantee shall comply with all applicable laws, ordinances,codes, regulations, and policies of local,state,and federal <br /> governments,as now or hereafter amended All funds provided under this Agreement must be used for to reimburse the <br /> costs of business interruption caused by required closures. Grantee must ensure the funds are used specifically for <br /> COVID related impacts. <br /> 1 <br />
