ORDINANCE NO. -3 a 76 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 8 of Ordinance No. 3551, <br /> (Everett City Code 10.50.710) which ordinance is entitled: "An . <br /> Ordinance relating to and regulating the sale of milk and milk <br /> products; providing for the grading and for the inspection of <br /> the production and processing thereof; requiring permits; definin <br /> offenses; prescribing penalties and repealing Ordinance No. 3139 <br /> and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith," <br /> and declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That Section 8 of Ordinance No. 3551 (Everett <br /> City Code 10.50.710) be, and it is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "10.50.710 Grades of milk and milk products which may be <br /> sold. No milk or milk products shall be sold to the final <br /> consumer, or to restaurants, or to soda fountains, or to <br /> grocery stores, or to similar establishments, except <br /> certified pasteurized and Grade A pasteurized milk. Provided <br /> that when any milk distributor fails to qualify for one of <br /> the above grades the Health Officer is authorized to sus- <br /> pend his permit, and/or institute court action, or, in <br /> lieu thereof, to degrade his product and to permit its sale <br /> during a temporary period not exceeding 30 days, or in <br /> emergencies such longer periods as he may deem necessary.
