. rt <br /> . <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �a 7 Y" <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the allocation of additional <br /> funds to cover unanticipated expenditures for the Library <br /> Department for the year 1960. <br /> WHEREAS, it was not anticipated at the time of the <br /> making of the budget for the year 1960 that it would be necessary <br /> to make additions and betterments to the Public Library of the <br /> City of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Library Board of the City of Everett has <br /> determined that it is necessary for the best interests of the <br /> Library of the City of Everett that certain additions and <br /> betterments be made and that an architect be hired at a cost <br /> not to exceed $2,000.00 to prepare plans; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That an emergency is hereby declared to <br /> exist and that there is hereby transferred from the Current <br /> Expense Fund the sum of $2,000.00 to the Library Fund for <br /> employment of an architect to prepare preliminary plans and <br /> specifications for additions and betterments to the City of <br /> Everett Public Library. <br /> , / <br /> I <br /> L / j <br /> 0NI A Y R <br /> Attest: <br /> J :r.�t;.,7' �t'.c_�.L.,1. ,:zy,_..,. <br /> ( - Ci y Clerk <br /> Passed: AUG 196U <br /> Published: AUG 3 1960 <br />
