ORDINANCE NO. 3704 <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of: <br /> WETMORE AVENUE from a point 200 ft. north of <br /> the north property line of 10th St. to the <br /> north property line of 7th Street <br /> by construction of a 22" asphaltic concrete pavement, 36 ft. <br /> wide, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement concrete <br /> sidewalks, providing for the necessary surface drainage and <br /> doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection <br /> therewith to make a complete improvement, all in accordance <br /> with Resolution No. , 6097 of the City of Everett; creating <br /> a local improvement district; ,creating a local improvement <br /> district fund therefor; and providing for the payment of said <br /> improvement by special assessments on the property in said <br /> district under the mode of payment by bonds . <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6097 of the City of <br /> Everett, the City Council has declared its intention to order <br /> the improvement as above outlined and doing all work in con- <br /> nection therewith to make a complete improvement in accordance <br /> with the plans and specifications as prepared by the City <br /> Engineer of the City of Everett, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That an improvement be made of: <br /> WETMORE AVENUE from a point 200 ft. north of <br /> the north property line of 10th St. to the <br /> north property line of (th St. <br /> by construction of a 2 " asphaltic concrete pavement, 36 ft. <br /> wide, concrete curbs and gutters, portland cement concrete <br /> sidewalks, providing for the necessary surface drainage and <br /> doing all such other work as may be necessary in connection <br /> therewith to make a complete improvement, all according to the <br /> plans and specifications of the City Engineer and which plans <br /> and specifications are hereby adopted and approved. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expenses of such improve- <br /> ment, including all necessary incidental expenses, shall be <br /> borne by and assessed against the property included in the <br /> assessment district herein created in accordance with law. The <br /> City of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any <br /> portion of the costs and expenses of such improvement, except <br /> as provided by Chapter l4l, Session Laws of 1923, or acts <br /> amendatory thereto and the ordinances of the City of Everett. <br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established a local <br /> improvement district to be known as ''Local Improvement District <br /> No. 651 '', which district shall include the following des- <br /> cribed property located in Everett, Snohomish County, Washing- <br /> ton, to-wit: <br /> Lots 15 to 21, inc. , Blk. 128, Legion Park Add. to Everett <br /> Lots 24 to 28, inc. , Elk. 138, Legion Park Add. to Everett <br /> Lots 5 to 8, inc . , Elk. 138, Plat of First Add. to <br /> Legion Park <br /> Lots 1 to 9, inc. , Elk. 166, Plat of First Add. to <br /> Legion Park <br /> Lots 5 to 8, inc. , Elk. 167, Plat of First Add, to <br /> Legion Park <br />
