ORDINANCE NO. 3698 <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment and <br /> assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 649 for the <br /> improvement of: <br /> The alley west of Colby Ave. from 24th St. to 23rd St. <br /> by the construction of a six inch concrete pavement, eighteen <br /> feet in width, the installation of necessary surface drainage, <br /> and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection <br /> therewith, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6o49 of <br /> the City of Everett; all in accordance with Ordinance No. <br /> 3673 of the City of Everett, levying an assessment on <br /> account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels <br /> of land or other property as shown on said roll, providing <br /> for the issuance of bonds therefor, and fixing the date of <br /> issue thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the assessment and assessment roll of <br /> Local Improvement District No. 649 for the improvement of: <br /> The alley west of Colby Ave. from 24th St. to 23rd St. <br /> by the construction of a six inch concrete pavement, eighteen <br /> feet in width, the installation of necessary surface drainage, _ <br /> and such other work as may be necessary in connection there- <br /> with, all in accordance with Resolution No. 6044 of the <br /> City of Everett, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 3673 <br /> of the City of Everett, as the same now stands, be, and the <br /> same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of <br /> land as shown by said roll is hereby declared to be especially <br /> benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged <br /> against the same, and that there is hereby levied an assess- <br /> ment against said lot, tract and parcel of land, or other <br /> property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged <br /> against the same . <br /> Section 3: That the 5th day of February , 195 9 , is <br /> hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required <br /> to be issued on account of such improvement. <br /> Section 4: That the sum charged against each lot, tract <br /> and parcel of land and other property, or any portion of such <br /> sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the <br /> date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment <br /> has been placed in his hands for collection. <br /> Section 5 : That the City of Everett may sell said bonds <br /> and make payment in cash in the manner provided by the <br /> ordinances of said City. <br /> MA YO R <br /> - //47, <br /> Attest:44/1C1‘" <br /> Passed: December 9, 1958 <br /> • <br /> Published: December , 1958 <br />
