• , ORDINANCE NO. 3681 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of the following described portion of street and alley in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to-wit: That portion of Nassau St. and Everett Ave . in Plat of Everett, Div. "G", adjacent to the south and west lines of Blk. 617, Flat of Everett, Div. "G" , more particularly described as follows : Begin at the southeast corner of Elk. 618, Plat of First Tideland Addition to Everett; thence northerly along the east line of said Elk. 618 and the west line of Nassau St. for 252.75 ft. to the south line of that portion of Nassau St. vacated by Ordinance No. 1856 approved by the Everett City Council on April 29, 1910 at a point 6.25 ft. south of the northeast corner of Lot 5 of said Blk. 618; thence angle to the right for 80.01 ft. to the east marginal line of Nassau St. and the west line of Blk. 617, Plat of Everett, Div. "G" , at a point 6.25 ft. south of the northwest corner of Lot 7 of said Elk. 617; thence south along said west line of Blk. 617 and east margin of Nassau St. 223.75 ft. to the southwest corner of said Blk. 617; thence angle left 90°00' for 45 .41 ft. to the west right of way line of the Great Northern Railway Company right of way; thence southwesterly along said west right of way line to a point of intersection with the south line of said Elk. 618, Plat of First Tideland Addition to Everett produced easterly in its present platted direction, being a line parallel to and 20 ft. north of the center line of Everett Ave . ; thence westerly along said line parallel to and 20 ft. north of the center line of Everett Ave. 120.21 ft. , more or less, to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the owners of more than two-thirds of the private property abutting upon the portion of street and alley above described have duly filed their petition with the City Council of Everett praying for the vacation of said portion of street and alley, and WHEREAS, said City Council of the City of Everett did by resolution duly adopted, fix the 26th day of May, 1958 at 10:00 A.M. of said day for the hearing and determination of said petition, and WHEREAS, due and legal notice of the time and place of said hearing and the determination of said petition has been given by the city clerk in the manner prescribed by law, and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for hearing objections to the vacating of the herein described portion of street and alley were heard and discussed, and WHEREAS, it now appears to the City council that said petition should be granted subject to certain reservations and exceptions and said City Council does hereby determine to vacate the above described portion of said street and alley subject to certain reservations and exceptions,
