THE CITY OF EVERN:TT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 3007 , entitled as above set forth, be , and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 6: The examining board shall examine all persons who have riled application under the provisions of this ordinance for journeyman plumber ' s license , and who have at the time of the filing of said application deposited with the City Clerk the sum of Three (0.00) Dollars as an examination fee. Such examination shall be held at such time and place as said board shall designate . Such examination shall be of such character, both practical and theoretical, as tc thoroughly test the ap licant ' s ability and competency to perform the business of a journeyman plumber as herein defined. Such examination shall be veld from time to time, at such time and place as said Board shall ceter•min_e , but no applicant shall be compelled to wait more than Thirty (30 ) days following his application; PROVIDED that temporary working permit may be issued by the plumbing inspector until such time as the examining board meets and makes such examination . If after such examination the board determines that any appli- cant is qualified and competent to engage in the business of journeyman plumber, the board shall issue to such person a certificate of competency.
