<br /> AT? ORDII'TP TCE providing for the improvement of *Maple Street ,
<br /> 9th Street to 13th Street , by t_ie installation of 6" water mains,
<br /> fire hydrants and necessary appurtenances, and doing a_ l other work
<br /> to make a complete improvement ; in accordance with a majority
<br /> petitionpetition therefor; creating an assessment district ; creating a local
<br /> improvement district fund therefor, at providing for the payment of
<br /> said improvement by special assessment on the property in said
<br /> district under the node of payment b ; bonds.
<br /> ?i 'E'?.EAS, there has been heretofore filed witn the City
<br /> Council of the City of Everett a majority petition of the property
<br /> owners petitioning for said improvement , and upon examination
<br /> thereof the said City Council has found the things set forth therein
<br /> to be true ; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the said petition has been referred to the
<br /> Commissioner of Public '«or ks to be examined by said Commissioner
<br /> and the City Engineer , and the Conmiss ioner of Public Works has
<br /> filed with the City Council all data and information required by
<br /> law; and
<br /> ' E " said Commissioner of Public �����rorks has recommended
<br /> .!HER_�hS,
<br /> to the City Council that said improvement petitioned for be made ,
<br /> and it appearing to the City Council that the public health, con-
<br /> venience and necessity require that such improvement be made ,
<br /> NOW, TEFORE, TT?E, CIT'r OF E'T :RETT DOTS OPDAI1'-:
<br /> Section 1 : That I aple Street , 9th Street to 13th Street ,
<br /> be improved by the installation of 6" water mains, fire hydrants
<br /> and necessary appurtenances , and doing all other work to make a
<br /> complete improvement , all according to the plans and specifications
<br /> prepared under the airection of the City Engineer, and which plans
<br /> and specifications are hereby adopted and approved.
<br /> Section 2: That the cost and ey- ense of such improve-
<br /> ment , including, all necessary incidental expense , shall oe borne
<br /> by and assessed against the property included in the assessment
<br /> district herein created in accordance with law. The City of Everett ;
<br /> shall not be liable in any manner for any Portion of the costs and
<br /> expenses of such, ir.provement except as proviced by Chapter 141
<br /> Session Laws of 1923, or acts amendatory thereto and the ordinances
<br /> of the City of Everett .
<br /> Section 3: That there is hereby established a local
<br /> improvement district to be known as "Local Irnrovement District
<br /> No. 579 , " which district shall include the following described
<br /> property located in Everett, Snohomish County, -, aso n;- ton, to-wit:
