I ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of California ;venue , from Fulton Street to Cedar Street , by grading to proper grade , installation of necessary drainage, construction of concrete sidewalks and doing all other work as may be necessary in connection therewith to make a complete improvement , in accordance with Two majority petitions therefor, uniting', said majority petitions , creating one assessment district , creating one local improvement district fund t,^erefor , and providing for the payment of said improvement by special assessment in said district under the mode of payment by bonds. 'TT,REnS, there has been heretofore filed with the City Council of the City of Everett a na jority petition of the property owners o- the North side of California .,venue , from Fulton Street to Cedar Street , petitioning for the improvement of said street by grading to proper grade , construction of concrete side walk on the North side of said street ; and HERELS, there has been heretofore filed with the City Council of the City of _,verett a majority petition of the Property: owners on the South sine of California :.venue , from Fulton Street to Cedar Street , petitioning for the improvement of said street by grading; to proper grade , installation of necessary drainage and construction of concrete sidewalks on the South side of said street ; and -ITEELEAS, upon examination thereof the City Commissioners of Everett have found the things set forth in said petitions to be true ; and '17'hFEAS, the said petitions have been referred to the Commissioner of rublic ,,orks to be examined by said Commissioner and the City Engineer and the Commissioner of =ublic -:Yorks has filed with the City Council all data and information re- quired by law; and _,-a;�*nE n c _„1��,_,;,.,, said Commissioner of 'Jt1v1iC ',corks has recommendeld to the City Council that said improvements petitioned for be made ,;. and that said improvements above described be consolidated into one improvement and one improvement district , and it appearing to the City Council that such is the proper procedure and that the public health, convenience and public necessity requires that s _ ch improvement be made.
