A <br /> ORDINANCE No. 30 72 . <br /> AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of the alley in <br /> Block 626, Ylat of Everett, said alley being between Wetmore Avenu: <br /> and Rockefeller Avenue from California Street to Everett Avenue, <br /> by the construction of a sewer, side sewers, together with the <br /> necessary appurtenances, also by the construction of a Portland <br /> cement concrete pavement, providing for the necessary surface <br /> drainage, and by doing all grading or regrading as may be <br /> necessary, and doing all other work as may be necessary in connection <br /> therewith to make a complete improvement, in accordance with a <br /> majority petition therefor calling for the improvement above <br /> described by the construction of a Portland cement concrete paveme t, <br /> by providing for the necessary surface drainage, by doing such gra•'ing <br /> or regrading as may be necessary, and by doing all work necessary o <br /> make a complete improvement, and in accordance with Resolution <br /> No. 5122 of the City of Everett calling for the improvement described <br /> ty the construction of a sewer, side sewers, together with the <br /> necessary appurtenances, and by doing all work necessary to make a <br /> complete improvement; uniting the two improvements ; creating a <br /> local improvement district; creating a local improvement district <br /> fund therefor and providing for the payment of said improvement to <br /> be made by special assessment on the property in said district under <br /> the mode of payment by bonds. <br /> WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with the City <br /> Council of the City of Everett a majority petition of the property <br /> owners, petitioning for the improvement in Block 626, Plat of <br /> Everett, being the alley between Wetmore Avenue and Rockefeller <br /> Avenue from California street to Everett Avenue, by the <br /> construction of the Portland cement concrete pavement, providing <br /> for the necessary surface drainage, going such grading or regradingi <br /> as may be necessary, and doing such other work as may be necessary <br /> in connection the/with to make a complete improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due hearing on said petition it appeared <br /> to the City Council that public convenience and necessity require <br /> that saia improvement be mace; and <br /> WHEREA.S, by Resolution No. o122 the City Council of the <br /> City of Everett has declared its intention to order the <br /> improvement of the alley in Block 626, Plat of Everett, being <br /> the alley between iYetmore Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue from <br /> California Street to Everett Avenue by the construction of a sewer <br /> ana side sewers, together with the necessary appurtenances and <br /> doing all work as may be necessary- in connection therewith to make <br /> a complete improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS, all work shall be done in connection with said <br /> above described improvement to make a complete improvement, in <br /> accordance with the plans and specifications as prepared by the <br /> City Engineer of the City of Everett. <br /> IvuW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the alley in Block 626, Plat of Everet , <br /> said alley being between Wetmore Avenue and Rockefeller Avenue fro_ <br /> California Street to Everett Avenue, oe improved by the constructs n <br /> of a sewer and side sewers, together with the necessary appurten- <br /> ances ; the construction of a .urtland cement concrete pavement, <br /> providing for the necessary surface drainage, doing such grading <br /> or regrading as may oe necessary, and doing all work as may be <br /> necessary therewith to make a complete improvement, ALL IN ACCORD- <br />
