I • . <br /> • <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE No. <br /> 2- g" 7 0. <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessment <br /> and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 529 <br /> for the improvement of Federal Avenue from Edward Avenue to <br /> 4Oth Street ; also .jdward Avenue from Federal Avenue to wriday <br /> Avenue , by the construction of a sewer and its necessary <br /> appurtenances and all other work to make a c omiple to improvement <br /> under Ordinance No. 2784 of the City of Everett ; levying an <br /> assessment on account thereof against the several lots, tracts <br /> and pa reels of land or other property, as shown on said roll <br /> and providing for the issuance of bonds therefor , and fixing the <br /> date of the issuance thereof . <br /> THE CI TY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll <br /> of Local Improvement District No. 529 for the i pproverient of <br /> Federal Avenue from Edward Avenue to 40th Street; also Edward <br /> Avenue from Federal Avenue to Friday Avenue , by the construction <br /> of a sewer and its necessary appurtenances and all other work <br /> to make a complete improvement under Ordinance No. 2784 of the <br /> City of Everett , as the same now stands, be , and the, same is <br /> hereby in all things ap:,roved and confirmed. <br /> Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels <br /> of land , or other property, as sham on said roll, is hereby <br /> declared to be especially benefitted by said improvement in at <br /> least the amount charged against the same, and that the assess- <br /> ment appearing against the same is in proportion to the assess- <br /> ments a npear:ing upon said roll, and that there is bereby levied an <br /> assessment against each lot , tract and parcel of land and other <br /> property appearing on said roll in the amount finally charged <br /> against the same thereon. <br /> Section 3: That the day o f 67013 <br /> 1940, is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of bonds requirEd <br /> to be issued on. account of said improvement. <br /> Section 4 : That the City of Everett ray sell said <br /> bonds and make payment in cash in the manner provided by the <br /> Ordinances of said City . <br /> /e, <br /> Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: 4s - 2 7 - '7o <br /> Published: p- _� — <br />
