►R i 001IP Artole ..7 ORDINANCE NO 2295-98 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended (Title 19, EMC) to encompass an area east of HWY 99 and South of Everett Mall Way. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on March 17, 1998, the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding establishment of the zoning designation for the herein described land area annexed to the city; (map attached) and WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing the Planning Commission recommendation, agrees with the Planning Commission and determines that said property should be provided with an interim zone of R-2 (Single Family Detached Medium Density) based on conditions set in the City Council's Resolution of Intent to Rezone, number 4548, which provides for City Council review and possible approval of a change to C-1 at a future date. (Intent to Rezone attached) NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: n Section 1: Zoning \r7 That the City Council accepts the Planning Commission recommendation that the interim R-2 zoning for the annexation meets the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan as affirmed by Ordinance No. 2161-96 . Section 2: Legal Description That the Zoning Map of that portion of the City of Everett, described below, is hereby amended by zoning the annexed area R-2, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1671-89, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code). 1 9 ��s <F" O 9® 7
