t <br /> ORDINANCE No. ;713 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending Section 2 of Qrdina,nce No. 2691 <br /> of the City of Everett, entitled as follows: <br /> "An Ordinance providing for the fixing and determining <br /> of certain additional officers, assistants and employees <br /> in the Water Department of the City of Everett, prescribing <br /> the duties of such officers, assistants and employees, <br /> and fixing their salaries; providing for the payment <br /> of the costs of holding an election in the City of <br /> Everett under Ordinance No. 2687 of the City of Everett; <br /> providing for the payment of certain legal expenses <br /> incurred in connection with the water project provided <br /> for in said Ordinance No. 2687, and authorizing and <br /> providing for the payments of costs of engineering <br /> expenses, field work expenses, expenses for preparation <br /> of plans and specifications, and all incidental expenses <br /> in connection with the work on said water project; <br /> creating a special water construction fund , and providing <br /> for the payment of all expenses herein referred to; <br /> providing an emergency expenditure hereof; " <br /> providing when said salaries shall become effective and declaring <br /> an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OP EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> T: <br /> Section 1: That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2691 <br /> of the City of Everett be, and the same is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> "Section 2: <br /> That there is hereby created in the Water <br /> Department the following additional officers, assistants, and <br /> employees , with the following s , varies, to wit: <br /> Project Engineer 4275.00 per month <br /> Consulting Engineer (part time) 55.00 per month <br /> Transitmen 175.00 per month <br /> Levelmen 150.00 per month <br /> Rodmen 135.00 per month <br /> Head chainmen 120.00 per month <br /> 'ear chainmen 110.00 per month <br /> Axemen 110.00 per month <br /> Clerk Typist 80.00 per month <br /> Draughtsmen 165.00 per month <br /> Chief Inspector 250.00 per month <br /> Inspectors 165.00 per month <br /> Assistant Inspectors 150.00 per month <br /> .Estimate Clerk 150 .00 per month" <br /> Section 2: The salaries herein provided for shall <br /> become effective as� of January 1 , 1937. <br /> Section 3: An emergency is declared to exist and <br /> this ordinance small take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Attest: Mayor <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: January 12 , 1037 <br /> Published: tanuary 1Y, 1937 . <br />
